Once a cheater...

Leon is a hard working, self motivated young man who keeps himself in shape. He's dating a beautiful young woman who is currently in cosmotology school.
The two are madly in love with each other, against his friend's and family's better judgement. When you're in love, who cares right?
The two are always together; almost inseparable. When they are absent, they're calling and texting each other all the things they miss and want to do when they're together again.
Leon's friends and family has always told him, "she's not right for you." constantly reminding him of her tainted past. His response has always been steady and true to her, "her past should be just that, the past. She has changed and love will manifest and reveal her true genuine side. Give her the benefit of the doubt."
On the few occassions that leon did leave town on business, he would get text messages and calls from friends telling him that his "girl" was spotted eating lunch and dinner with another guy. He would dismiss it as she has already told him before that "a long friend is in town and she will be showing him around."
One oddly cold day in mid February, leon was assigned to an east coast business trip. Again, he got messages that his significant other was suspected of not being faithful. This time she had not told him as he had to leave before he could tell her. "Look! Get off it! If I was jealous at every guy who looked at her or wanted her, I'd be too busy being mad and can't get shit done!" he snapped.
The next day, leon had finished his assignment early and decided to take a brisk walk to clear his mind. Realizing she hadn't called or tested him, leon decided to book the first flight home causehe missed her so and wanted to surprise her.
Upon arrival leon realized he should get her something nice to further enhance the surprise. He motions for the cab to pitstop at the mall. Upon entering a crowded department store, he noticed a figure looking much like his own girlfriend exiting a car passenger side. He stood at the glass door out of sheer curiosity to get a closer look. He saw the young lady walk to the front of the car to meet her driver where she embraced him, and the two kissed passionately before walking away from the vehicle. Leon chuckled thinking, "this would be a great story to tell his gf... That someone looked a lot like her and act like they act together."
After his purchase, leon walked into the starbucks adjacent to get his coffee as he was needing a pick up from all the traveling around. As he left the starbucks, he saw the familiar woman again walking hand in hand with her companion. Not thinking much of it, leon continued walking to the mall exit.
Leon is now a few steps behind the couple when the young lady drops her purse while scrounging for her lipgloss. Leon stops as she turned around to pick up her purse. His heart dropped to his stomache. Rage consumes his every thought. Shaking in dismay and anger, leon walks right over, bends over to puck up her purse. The young lady, whom leon knows so well, opens her mouth to say thank you but caught herself not finishing her sentence.
As the two stare dead into each other's eyes, she didn't see the same passion and burning desire leon's eyes once had. Before she could say anything further, leon turned to her companion, extends his hand and states, "I once had a beautiful girlfriend whom I loved with every fiber of my being.... And she resembles your friend here. May I give her this as a gift from a random stranger?" and hands over the bag he had just bought.
Leon then turns the opposite direction, face completely stern and cold, and walks away.
As the young lady begins to gain her composure, she reaches in the bag to pull out a book and a card. The book was in fact a photo album that read "Throughout Time". She flips through and glances at all the photos throughout their relationship. The envelope read "to the love of my life". Through tear welled eyes, she read on, "no matter what the world may think of you, I will always be there for you. My love dedicated in one life, Leon."
As her tears smeared away all his penmenship, she looks up and looks around for him. In just as quickly as a tear rolled down her cheek, he was gone.
The message if ever was one for either side, once a cheater, always...

| sadly enough cheating occurs when one individual feels they're missing something their significant other lacks. I see it far too often. Most girls, generally speaking, I see cheating want a stable guy to care for them and stability, and they want the partying, wild guy to make them feel sexy. I think it's the insecurity syndrome. They want to feel wanted and sexy, but lack it from the significant other cause he's out hustling togive her the finer things.

| a cheater sometime love can blind u even when u know a friends since childhood or high school they cheat or betrayed this is what i get for being too nice/soft heart i know how that feel i use to live in the vannuys area for a long time i have friends and i date have fun they all cheat or betrayed even my younger sister when i help her and her husband out for along time with money and a place to live they kick me out my own apt even she betrayed me i been too nice and i care too much but sinc
